Ever had an emergency visit to the dentist to have a tooth pulled?
Hardly amusing. Except when 'patient' Harvey Korman visits 'dentist' Tim Conway in the following <10 minute video, "The Dentist" โ one of the most popular sketches from a 1970's TV episode of The Carol Burnett Show.
Conway plays a recently graduated dentist who accidentally injects himself with Novocain on his first day on the job. ๐
Humour, as with beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
I've viewed the following video 10+ times - and each time I have laughed until feeling a tear running down my right leg. I'm not alone. Harvey Korman later admitted that Tim Conway was so funny in the taping of this sketch, that he actually peed himself from laughing so hard! ๐
See for yourself... ๐

PS Why not watch the 2002 interview recorded with Conway and Korman, and hosted by CNNโs Larry King. Tim Conway and Harvey Korman talk about their long careers in comedy that includes working with the likes of Carol Burnett and Mel Brooks.
